Colorbond Fencing
Superb Fences & Decks installs quality Colorbond steel fencing across Melbourne's Eastern and North Eastern suburbs. Colorbond is the trusted choice for homeowners who want a fence that looks sharp, needs almost no upkeep, and lasts for decades — no warping, no rotting, no termites.
We supply and install Colorbond fencing in the full range of colours, so your new fence matches your home and street. Panel styles include sawtooth sheet, Trimline, and Ezyline, with post and rail options to suit any block.
Timber Fencing
Superb Fences & Decks builds timber paling, picket, and feature fencing for homes across Eastern and North Eastern Melbourne. Every fence is built on-site to match your property, your budget, and the way you actually use your yard — whether that's privacy, street appeal, or keeping pets and kids contained.
We supply and install using treated hardwood and pine, with all posts, rails, and fixings selected for Melbourne's clay soils and weather. Free on-site quotes, honest pricing, and a clean job site every time.
GATES
fence isn't finished without a gate that matches it and actually works properly year after year. We build both pedestrian gates and driveway gates to suit your fence style, whether that's timber paling, picket, Colorbond, or a mixed-material feature fence.
Pedestrian gates are hung on heavy-duty hinges with a lockable latch — good for side access, front entries, and pool-compliant gates where a self-closing hinge and latch are required. Driveway gates carry more load and see more use, so we build these with a steel or aluminium frame for strength and squareness, with timber or Colorbond infill to match the rest of your fencing. Single swing, double swing, and sliding gates are all options depending on your driveway width, slope, and how much clearance you need.
For driveway gates, we can also wire in gate automation — a motor, remote, and safety sensors — so you're not getting out of the car to open and close it every time.
Screening and Pool Fencing
A pool area needs to look good and meet Victoria's pool safety rules. Compliant pool fencing is usually built in glass and aluminium rather than timber — these materials meet the non-climbable requirements of AS1926.1 without the gaps or footholds that timber palings and rails can create. We can talk through the right option for your pool: frameless or semi-frameless glass for an open, unobstructed look, powder-coated aluminium panels for a low-maintenance option that won't rust, All options are supplied to meet minimum 1200mm height, maximum 100mm gaps, and a compliant self-closing, self-latching gate.
Screening around the pool area is a different job, and this is where timber comes into its own alongside a few other materials. We build timber slat screening, Colorbond slat screening, and composite screening around pool equipment, pumps, and filtration units, and as privacy screens between the pool and neighbouring properties or the street — so the area feels enclosed and private, not like it's fenced off with an obvious safety barrier. Composite and Colorbond options are worth considering poolside since they handle splash and moisture with less upkeep than raw timber.
